Okey back to my blog, in this oppotunities  i would like to share you about '' How Javanese People Named Their Children Using their Traditions''. Perhaps a lot of people think that, why should i write this article? I choose this theme because i really interested with this topic. Javanese people have unique ways to name their children. Why i said unique? because they still believe and use unique ways to name their children such as using born day ( Weton in javanese), using month of born, sequence number of the child in the family and based of hopeness or aspiration of the parents.


         Moreover i'll tell you more details about given name of javanese people to their children. Fisrt from born day or (dino). A lot of javanese people named their children from born day. They believe that given named by born day will decide the fated of their children and javanese people generally assume that born day is one of crutial events which means one of unforgetable moments. In java there are several
days or weton such as ( Senen, Selasa, Rebo, Kemis, Jemuah, Setu, ngahat) and pasaran such as ( Legi, Pahing, Pon, Wage, Kliwon). Therefore most of javanese names contain dino, pasaran or affiliation of those aspects.
* Here i'll give several examples of javanese names that use born day or dino :
1. Senan, Sanimah, Saniah, these names are given to children who born in Monday
2. Lasa, Lasiman, Lasiah, Lasmini these names are given to children who borned in Tuesday
3. Rebi Rubiah, Rubiyo these names are given to children that born Wednesday.
* Next i'll give several examples of javanese name that use (pasaran) :
1. Legimin, Gino, Gito, Leginah, Ginah are given to children who borned in Legi.
2. Lasa, Lasiman, Lasiah, Lasmini, Lasman, are given to children who borned in Tuesday
3. Rebi, Rubinah, Rubiyo, are given to children who borned in Wednesday
* At last several examples javanese names that use affiliation of dino or pasaran :
1. Tugino, Tuginah, Tugimin, Tugiman, are given to children that borned in Sabtu Legi.

       Futhermore, Javanese people are usually named their children use month of born. Normally, javanese people recignize java month such as ( Suro, Sapar, Mulud, Bakda Mulud, Jumadiawal, Jumadilakhir, Rejeb, Ruwah, Poso, Sawal, Dulkangidah, Besar). To name their children javanese people are not usually whole of java monts. They just usually several monts like Suro, Sapar, Maulud, Jumadiawal, Jumadilakhir, Sawal, and Besar.
* Here are some examples of javanese names that usually using monts :
1. Surati, Suratmi, Suratinah these names are given to children that borned in Suro month
2. Mulyati, Mulyani, Mulud these names are given to children that borned in Mulud month
3. Jumadi, Jumali, Juminah these names are given to children that borned in Jumadil awal and
    Jumadil akhir month

     In additional, Javanese people  are also using sequence number of their children. The reason of javanese people using this way is to remind the children sequentially so they are using this way to remid their children name easier. In this case, they also usually named their children from eldest to youngest.
* Here are some examples of javanes names that using this way :
1. (Eko)    this name is usually used to first children
2. (Dwi)   this name is usually used to second children
3. (Tri)     this name is usually used to third children
4. (Catur) this name is usually used to fourth children

   At last, Javanese people are usually named their children by expectation or aspiration. Many javanese parents are hoped and aspired to their children in order that their children be useful in this life.
* Here are some examples of javanese names that using this way :
1. Slamet, Widodo, Mulyono, Rahayu. These names are contain the meaning in order that the
    children become safe.
2. Prakoso, Santoso, Kuwanto. These names are contain the meaning in order that the children
    become strong
3. Cahyono, Cahyadi, Kartika Sari. These names are contain the meaning in order that the children
    become brilliant someday.
